After 18 months of saving I finally bought one, yes you can only guess what it is!? Right? The DJI Mavic Air of course – this thing is amazing!
I was literally buzzing when this turned up. Can’t believe I finally bought a DJI Mavic Air fly more combo after watching so many videos about the release of it last year.
It is still my favourite drone of the year 2019 due to its sheer size and how well it folds up. I did consider the DJI Spark. But despite the overall footage from the Spark being good, it didn’t fold away like the Mavic Air. Also, the Spark has a shorter distance range and doesn’t come with the controller by default.

I Bought the DJI Mavic Air Fly More Combo for under £1000. I think that is pretty good given you get 3 batteries and a case that holds it all. The Mavic Pro comes in well over £1200 currently with only 1 battery so the choice was easy for me.

Although I went with DJI, there are plenty of other up-and-coming drone manufacturers. I felt that DJI are the most reputable, also they have a great line up which they have built on over the years. If you own a non-DJI drone, I would love to hear from you and find out first hand what the advantages and disadvantages are.
I plan to do an unboxing of the DJI Mavic Air very shortly. As soon as I have, I will upload a video for you to see. I plan to go in detail what is in the box and what you can expect to get if you buy one.
